pamala-alba

I am Pamela Alba, but my students call me Mrs. Pam. I'm from Dominican Republic. I work in a bilingual school and own an afternoon technology program for kids to learn programming, digital art and STEAM.

My journey started as an English teacher in my home, then promoted to Technology teacher. I've been able to prepare myself in the latest trends on educational technology and integration in the classroom.

I hold a certification in STEM and a Master's degree in Educational Technology. The beautiful world of STEAM and MakerSpace and it has been quite an exciting adventure teaching students from Kinder through 4th grade. I also help other teachers to fall in love with technology through social media, YouTube videos and workshops.

I am a school library media specialist in Georgia. I am also an avid tech and gadget learner. I enjoy incorporating read alouds into classroom instruction and teaching students the importance of digital citizenship. Most recently, I have started advocating for more STEM instruction in elementary school media centers.

darryl-hawins

My name is Lisa and I am the STEAM & Technology coach at an International school in Panama. We just brought STEAM to our school during the pandemic. It was a hard change, but having something for the kids and that is hands on when the rest of the day is all digital has been extremely beneficial to their growth and education. Many parents have told me how much their kids look forward to STEAM class each week!

EdTech Enthusiast & K-8 Technologist-Tech Teacher/Coach for last 20 years. Love sharing about technology integration for the classroom. Started STEM integration program as part of curriculum at our school. 2020 NJ Teacher of the Year(non-public)

I’m a fifth grade teacher in the Bay Area, California. I am constantly looking for ways to engage my students and implement critical thinking skills into the classroom. Each year, I attend our county’s STEM conference, participate in online technology conferences, and look for ways to teach other teachers in my district about the uses of tech in the classroom.

This year more than ever, we are forced to look for innovative ways to teach STEM in the classroom. I am excited to continue this work in the most unique teaching environment we’ve ever had, and help you try different ways to engage your students as well!
